Bluewater is a strong brand house, featuring industry-leading quality and sustainability. All of our brands project a passionate lifestyle, connected to adventure, community & the planet.

Business Core:

A sustainable business manufacturing organic-certified spirits in addition to operating an innovative cocktail bar, bistro restaurant, event space & mobile catering. With annual sales near $2m, Bluewater has sustained a workforce of about 24 people for 10 years.

Bluewater’s award-winning spirits have established the highest bar in spirits sustainability & super premium quality, receiving numerous accolades from industry experts and community alike. The business has been an ultimate cocktail destination, with a stewardship focus on both our local community & ecological footprint.

Sustainability:

Environmental responsibility is the cornerstone of Bluewater's culture. Our organic spirits are part of 1% for the Planet, supporting marine conservation through Sea Shepherd. Additionally, Bluewater sources USDA-certified organic ingredients and all our products are bottled in American-made glass. Additionally, the business maintained re-use and reduce initiatives throughout its operation, including composting commitments for any plant-based waste and re-using an estimated 50,000 bottles internally over 10 years.

Timeline:

  • 2009 – Business concept developed
  • 2010 – Launch of Bluewater Organic Distilling w/ contract production
  • 2012 – Opened distillery premises at Port of Everett waterfront
  • 2013 – Launch of Halcyon Organic Gin
  • 2015 – Opened new distillery with cocktail bar and bistro restaurant
  • 2017 – Built two new kitchens for restaurant
  • 2018 – Launch of Wintersun Organic Aquavit
  • 2021 – Launch of Motive Bourbon Whiskey
  • 2023 – Launched Voyaging Bar cocktail catering
